Franz Morawetz was the successor of the watch-shop of 1866 of
Carl Morawetz in the 7th district of Vienna in Neubaugasse 28, which also
supplied the aristocracy and the imperial court.
Because of this competence he was awarded to the
k.u.k. court-watchmaker and k.u.k. sworned appraiser.
On 22nd September 1914 he received the title of
k.u.k. chamber-watchmaker of the emperor Franz-Joseph I.,
which was an even higher honor than the court title.
